Games, both indoor and outdoor, help the children to grow. Outdoor games are more useful to build up the body strength and stamina, whereas the indoor games are helpful in the development of the brain. At the same time the human qualities of focused attention, teamwork, leadership, co-operation and co-ordination are instilled in them. Sports follows the dictum “A sound mind lives in a sound body” and believes in the fact that training in games and sports tends to give perception, judgment, courage and skill to students and makes them composed and decisive. It also inculcates amongst the students the qualities of a true sportsmanship.
