Training & Placement Cell:
The Institute has a well-established Training & Placement Cell. The Cell is headed by Mrs. Mamta Yadav, who has vast experience in the relevant field. The cell continuously explores different areas of opportunities for placements. The cell takes special care to ensure that students are aware of the latest placement situations, opportunities and motivates them to work towards their respective goals. The Training & Placement Officer maintains liaison with industries for summer placement as well as final placement of students passing out from the college. Training & Placement cell also arranges guest lectures, workshops, and seminars on career opportunities, entrepreneurship & personality development, etc.
The college has very strong links with the industry and continues to receive generous support from various organizations. The college provides opportunities for interaction between students and representatives of the Industry to facilitate placement in suitable jobs. The Institute puts in tremendous efforts to get its outstanding scholars recruited at the established multinational and national companies. It is a matter of great pride for the Institute that it organizes Job Fair at regular intervals to ensure gainful employment opportunities for the students. The executives of reputed companies visit College campus to interview the talented job seekers and offer them appointment letters mentioning the handsome packages they deserve.
The T&P Cell works diligently to provide an environment to YCET students that would enable them to understand the requirements of the corporate and industrial world and eventually to find an appropriate place in the job market. A few of the recent recruiters are – Sunmacrosys Ltd., JK Tyres Ltd., Albion Technologies Ltd., Future Edge Teleservices Ltd., InTarvo Technologies, ShareKhan Ltd, HDFC Bank, Royal Ship Management Ltd. Etc.
The T&P cell is not only focused on placement activity, one of the most important parts of T&P Cell is training. It is strongly believed that it not only important to place students in reputed, well know and well-paying companies but also to train them to be better professionals. We, at YCET, have a separate annual calendar of training activities wherein we invite corporate and industry guests to address our students. Regular industrial visits to companies such as CEERI, Hero Motors Ltd., OMAX Auto India Ltd, AMTEC Ltd., ParleG, etc.
The T & P Cell strives to make the students good professionals and also to instill and incite human values in them so that they would be the worthy ambassadors of YCET and of our country where ever their promising careers take them.
